IWP students continue to volunteer for veterans

On November 10, IWP students and alumni gathered again to volunteer with The Mission Continues, a veteran-run group that helps to improve the community for servicemen and women once they are back home. The service project, which involved landscaping work at Kenilworth Elementary School, was organized by IWP's Student Government Association.
"We were happy to help improve the neighborhood, and it's great to get IWP students out in the community and also help bring recognition to the Institute," says Paul Butler, Vice President of the SGA.
On December 15, students will volunteer with Wreaths Across America and lay wreaths on graves in Arlington Cemetery. For more information, please contact Amanda at anw2009@gmail.com.
